Delight

The morning sun warms ancient stone. A dragonfly hovers above still water with jeweled wings flashing at every turn. Laughter drifts through the plaza, brightening the air before disappearing into memory.

When this card is drawn, it reminds you that delight is not found by chasing extraordinary moments, but by noticing the gifts already woven into ordinary life. Joy does not always announce itself. Sometimes it is as simple as sunlight on your face, laughter shared with someone you love, or the sudden beauty of something you might otherwise pass by.

Slow your pace. Open your senses. Give yourself permission to play without productivity or perfection in mind. Dance badly. Sing worse. Make something. Follow a passing impulse simply because it delights you. Let yourself become absorbed in something that has no purpose beyond the pleasure of doing it. There is wisdom in remembering that life is something to enjoy, not accomplish.
