Rebirth
Renacimiento
Every ending prepares the way for a more authentic beginning.
Inside a temazcal, heat softens what has become rigid. Darkness quiets the world beyond its stone walls. Steam rises with the scent of copal and medicinal herbs, inviting each breath to carry away what no longer belongs.
When this card is drawn, it reminds you that some thresholds cannot be crossed halfway. Rebirth asks for a leaving behind, not simply a moving forward. What am I ready to release so new life has room to grow?
Stand for a moment at the threshold between what has been and what comes next. Name quietly what you are ready to leave behind, then step forward with intention toward what you are choosing to enter. Like the temazcal, the threshold asks you to trust the transformation rather than remain divided between two lives.
Rebirth in this instance arrives in a single breath. The moment we emerge back into the light, we are reborn. I welcome the life that awaits beyond the threshold of my new birth.
Reflection Practice
Stand in the doorway of your home. Pause with one foot inside and one foot outside. Before stepping through, quietly name what you are leaving behind. As you cross the threshold, name what you are choosing to enter. Carry that intention with you for the rest of the day.
