Wisdom
Sabiduría
Wisdom is not found in knowing more, but in seeing clearly.
Knowledge gathers facts. Wisdom discerns what is essential from what is distracting. It is born through observation, shaped by reflection, and refined through time.
An owl waits in stillness, seeing what others cannot in the dark. In the same way, an elder, through earned experience across the seasons of life, learns to see what remains invisible to others. One knows what time reveals; the other knows how to see when the way is obscured. Together, they remind us that wisdom is less about having all the answers than knowing what is worth noticing.
When this card appears, it invites you to look beyond immediate answers and search for the deeper pattern beneath them. Every experience, whether joyful or painful, carries a lesson. Wisdom is the ability to recognize which lessons deserve to be carried forward and which are better left behind.
Slow down. Watch closely. Let time reveal what deserves to remain.
Reflection Practice
Think of a challenge you have faced more than once. Instead of asking, "How do I solve it?" ask, "What has this been trying to teach me?" Write your answer in a single sentence. Then shorten it until only the essential truth remains.
Journal Prompt
- What truth has life been patiently teaching me?
Affirmation
I trust the wisdom time reveals.
