Elegido
You are entrusted with something greater than yourself.
The river never drinks its own water, nor does a fruit tree eat its own fruit. What flows through them is meant to move outward, nourishing life beyond themselves.
Life's greatest gifts are rarely meant for only the one who carries them. You may have been given a creative mind, a storyteller's voice, a listening ear, or a presence that brings calm to others. These gifts are not your possessions so much as something placed in your care, offered when needed by others.
When this card is drawn, it invites you to consider what life has entrusted to you. What comes naturally to you that might ease, nourish, encourage, or awaken something in another? Offer it freely, without waiting for recognition or return. A gift given generously does not become smaller. Water flowing downstream, it finds more life to nourish.
To be chosen is not to stand above others, but to stand in service to them. What has life entrusted to your care?
What you have been given becomes most meaningful when you offer it to others.
Reflection Practice
Think of one gift that comes naturally to you. It could be your creativity, storytelling, a listening ear, or a calming presence. Perhaps you are the one people go to when they need support or encouragement. Before the day ends, offer that gift to someone without expecting recognition. Notice how freely given gifts have a way of multiplying.
