Iniciación
Stepping onto an unknown road is the only way to meet the future that is waiting for you.
The horizon always hides what lies beyond it. Trails reveal themselves one bend at a time. Dawn arrives long before the day can be fully seen.
When this card is drawn, it invites you to consider the paths you have chosen: the ones that offered certainty, and the ones that asked you to step beyond what was familiar. Each shapes a life, but possibility lives beyond the edge of what is known.
Consider what each path has given you. Then notice what still calls from beyond the horizon. Where would you have ended up if you had only continued along the familiar route? Perhaps the question is not whether you can see the whole road, but whether you are willing to discover what the next step makes possible.
What unknown is asking you to take the first step?
Trust this first step, even when you cannot yet see where the path leads.
Reflection Practice
Think of a moment when you chose certainty over possibility, and a time when you stepped into the unknown. Write about what each decision has given you. Notice which path still calls to you, and what it may be asking of you now. Where would you have ended up if you only continued on the familiar route?
Journal Prompt
- What threshold am I being invited to cross, and what first step is waiting for me?
Affirmation
I trust the first step, even when I cannot yet see where the path leads.
