Let Go
Soltar
What is ready to leave will be carried off on its own course.
There is often an urgency, self-imposed, that we just “get over” something. Let go, in an instant, rather than recognizing the slow process of release. Allowing things to relinquish in their own time gives us the materials we need to evolve.
Better to let go gently, one small release at a time.
This card invites you to loosen your grip on what no longer serves you without rushing to leave the pain behind. Notice what you are still carrying that no longer requires you. Taket hold of a small stone, leaf, or other piece of the natural world as you consider what you are ready to release emotionally, then return it to the earth when you are ready. Let the act be simple. Letting go does not have to be dramatic to be real.
You do not have to force yourself to move on before you're ready. Ask yourself, what am I still carrying that no longer requires me? Healing isn't measured by how quickly you let go, but by your willingness to release, little by little, what no longer belongs in hand or heart.
Reflection Practice
Find a small object from nature and hold it as you think of something you're ready to release. When you're ready, return it to the earth without looking back. Notice what it feels like to let go without urgency.
Journal Prompt
