Light

You have spent enough time searching beyond yourself for what has always lived inside. The sun does not teach the seed how to become a flower. It simply gives it the conditions to unfold. Your own light is much the same. It is already there, beneath your fears, disappointments, expectations, and forgotten dreams, ever shining.

When this card is drawn, it may be time to turn inward. We can spend so much energy looking outside ourselves for answers, affirmation, or direction that we forget to listen to what we already know. Find a quiet place. Let the noise fall away. Breathe slowly and notice what remains when you stop seeking, striving, externally.

What within you has been mistaken for lost? You do not need to manufacture your light. It has been with you all along. Sometimes what we call finding ourselves is simply remembering what has never truly gone.
