Warmth
Calidez
Warmth is where healing begins.
Seeds sprout in warm soil. Morning light coaxes flowers open. A child instinctively reaches for a loving embrace. Nothing living unfolds without warmth.
This card invites you to notice where warmth is needed. Pay attention not only to where warmth is required in your surroundings, but also where it is needed within you. Let yourself receive the simple comfort of warmth—a blanket around your shoulders, a cup of tea in your hands, sunlight through a window. Notice how the body softens when it no longer has to brace itself. Where do you need more warmth in your life? Consider where you might offer yourself that same gentleness from within.
Offering yourself a little warmth allows strength to return.
Reflection Practice
Immerse yourself in something warm: a blanket, a sweater, a cup of tea, or sunspot through a window, as if you are a lazy cat in a stretch. Notice your body soften in response. Try to internalize this sensation, where emotionally can you offer yourself the same warmth?
Journal Prompt
- Where do I need more warmth in my life?
Affirmation
